The terrain where you caught the red hog looks like an ankle breaker to say the least. You run through that mess, you may be bear bait if you're hunting by yourself. Nasty looking stuff.
It's always good when you can make a trade. A couple of years ago, I traded wild swine that I caught for 2 (yes 2) deer head mounts from my buddy that does taxidermy. I was loving that.
When I killed the bucks, I knew I wanted them mounted, but I did not want to drop $350 for each mount. I through the idea out to him, and he jumped on it. I'm not sure how many gutted hogs I brought him, but he was happy, and I was very happy.
