I was on the same thinkin as rueben about the ladners and was about to go get a few, but talked to some guys that had been to his yard before L.H. died and said he had about 200 head on his yard. Thats a big turn around and go the other way for me, but I also have heard good things about the line. So I dont know.
I would like to have a few that i knew were bred right tho.
It just seems to me that if the only good yeller dogs are so well guarded, and such a big secret, that it would be useless to even try, unless you live in tx that is, which i dont. so maybe ill just spend the next ten years weeding thru catahoulas.

I think Bennet said he hunts ladner bred bmc... I would try to get one from him if I were looking for a hog dog. Ifladner had 200 dogs in his yard and if he were picking his dogs right then I just don't see a problem with that...
