If u go with the tpost they work great for dogs that stay at the end of the chain but if not they get tangled up. I have 5 dogs like that and it works for them but none of my others. I have a O ring around the t posts. Also if the dog jumps at the end of the chain I have had dogs get off that way the o ring comes off the post so I ended up tying something about half way up the post to keep it from coming off. It works for me but would not really recommend it
