Guys im not a dog trader by any means but i bought a registered plott hound from uncle earls too. The man was out of arkansas and selling him because he was open on track. I bought him because i figured u couldn't lose paying $400 for a really good looking reg plott hound that was a finished hog dog. And as far as i can tell he is finished and he is cold nosed and wide open on track. I was gonna breed him to my cat gyp to get to the cross i wanted in my dogs but i have done decided i really don't need to keep him because i won't hunt an open dog unless i go by myself. anyways the first time i took him out he found 2 sows but he was barking about 20mins on track b4 he got them bayed. I also had deer run across right in front of him and he could have cared less he didn't even look at em twice. im gonna tell u i was shocked to see a hound not wanna run deer!!! lol just didn't think it was possible. But anyway if yall know anyone that hunts open dogs i will sell him just the way i bought him.(Meaning Cash in hand and no trial) has a pedigree a mile long goes back 7 generations i can tell u he has the weems blood in him. And no im not positng him in the dog trader forum cause i dont need a bunch of bullcrappers......
