LacyHunter

It just takes a ton of patiences with Lacy dogs and that is why most people don't want to mess with them.  It takes twice as much patiences with them as it may with another breed of cur dogs at least that is my opinion from my experiences with them.  From what I have seen most Lacy's really don't show you who they are until they are close to four years old some five.  Most are shorter ranged dogs hunt out 150 to 500 yards and that 500 is pushing it on most Lacy's that I know of.  If you get a Lacy dog hurt really bad as a young dog it seems to take them a lot longer to get their mojo back if they do come back from it you don't have to worry about them getting hurt like that again to because they are intelligent dogs and usually learn from their almost fatal mistakes.  A Lacy dog is a real challenge to a handler and most the time they will test you harder than you test them .  I hated mine for a long time but then again I loved her at the same time its just a love hate relationship with Lacy's but once they show you who they really are which is not easy to get to I ended up loving mine and have been offered some pretty big money for her but just can't sell her if that makes any damn since after all the battles me and her have been threw with each other we have fought each other about as much as we have fought hogs together  I just finally figered out her head is harder than mine once that happened it was clear sailing from there . Lol !

Good Luck man .
