there is only 1 thing I disagree with the mods saying that it is bad to meet folks at "Dairy queen" or the "side of the road", I only want the people close to me that I trust knowing where I live and keep my dogs. I had a fella meet me at my house one time to buy a finished bird dog, he got there scoped out the place and came back a week later while I was at work and stole every dog on the yard. I will never have another person come to my house to buy a dog.
Ben, I feel the same way... but anyone selling a sure enough dog can show it in the woods, they don't have to know where you live.
The point, don't meet a stranger on the side of the road somewhere and hand over 100's or 1,000's of dollars based on an ad you found on the internet... it happens all the time.
