I don't know about a hunting dog but I'll tell you this, it sure magnifies my sense of smell.
I found out the hard way. Long story short, in the police academy a former paramedic told us it would cover the stench of the autopsy room. Lying, prankin son of a gun!!! All it did was make even the strongest of stomachs sick. It made me smell a lot more than I could imagine.
HA HA.. SUCKER!! I do that to all my rookies when we get a stinker..
It opens up your sinuses somethin fierce... I dont think i would do it to my dog though..
