Bears and hogs with the same dogs ??

i live in alabama and of course we have no bear but we have some guys from tennnesse that come down and hunt with us alot and the man i hunt with sent his dogs to tennessee and they said they had a bear bayed for a long time and could never get a shot and these dogs are not gonna thrash on anything, so i guess if they have never seen a bear and you put them where a bear has been they will run it, and them dogs would get on other bear and go a long ways ,when the bear treed they would come back, but it does take a dog with alot of bottom to tree a bear, some bear will run for over 24 hrs until it decides to tree it takes dogs with alot of bottom and stamina to have a good bear season.
