A good friend of mine who introduced me to hog hunting told me that if you had a slow babbling bluetick to run them when you had a runner as the hog would slow down when it got out hearing range of the bluetick that the other dogs would hit the hog like a freight train. Dont get me wrong we kept a few of these blues around until they were 16 months and they had drive and handle but in the end the barking was too much for me but the people we gave them to love them.
