Heck, if her mind is made up, I wouldn't bother trying to explain it to her.

For what it's worth, my mother is a UT alum, tea sipping hippy, bleeding heart liberal (she claims to be independent, but that's BS)  She knows that we need to use the dogs to hunt hogs, and she doesn't give me any grief over it, she just doesn't want to be a part of it... That arrangement works out just fine.
