 I have to say that yall can come up with some pretty good excuses for why a dog will trash on something.  Cheesy  Im a realist, I think that any dog that has good prey drive will naturally go after other animals besides a hog but if it still produces hogs then so be it.  Grin They can be trash broken but I would choose what to break them off of carefully. Like cattle and deer. JMO

AMEN...A dog knows the difference between a dillo and a hog...
Another popular excuse, "too much scent on the ground". The reasons for too much scent on the ground and not finding a pig are several.

1. dog is not a real good strike dog
2. dog doesn't know how to straighten out a track
3. handler doesn't guide the dog correctly (young dog)
4. dog doesn't have a nose
5. dog just doesn't have it between the ears
