My dogs used to hunt about 300 yards out, one died and I got a female that really ranged out. now my 2 dogs Male and female just vanish and I don't have a garmin but when I have had them bay it is usually around 800 yards away so I wish I knew. If the 800 yards is right that would be about perfect for me. Anymore is to much and any less makes me mad, they do make extra large circles and I am more interested in that, the style than just range. I don't want a dog that blows out and makes a straight line.
