Mine stay within 100 yards sometimes a little more out in front of the wheeler and go however far it takes when they strike a hog. I catch hogs and am satisfied with them. I would rather have casting dogs that make 500 yards or more loops but long as i am catching hogs with them thats all that matters for now!  Grin have had a couple that would go a mile or so hunting and thats too aggravating for me i got rid of them. don't like hunting dogs instead of hogs! LOL
