I get mine to do that, but I only have 3 dogs. I feed mine individually though, so I havent tried it with them all at the same time. The way I did it was to hold the food bowl and I wouldnt put it down until they calmed down and would sit. I would correct them if they lunged for the bowl when I put it on the ground. After they would just sit still for about five seconds I would say "eat it" and then the just tear it up.
Now I can walk into their kennels, they sit on their own and they wont touch the food till im outside the kennel and close the door and then say "eat it" the two cups of food will disapear in about 45 seconds. I dont even think they chew it.
