My Cricket female is going through a false pregnancy now. JJ has pups and now and Cricket THINKS she has pups. She is growly around the crate she "thinks" the pups are in and won't let another dog close to it. She will come out to eat/do her business then back in the crate.

I have had several dogs do this over the years, and it will eventually pass. It does seem like some females are more prone to it.  I doubt mine would even get in the truck now without stressing something was around her imaginary babies!
