We sell everything so we don't really want them missing ears cuz then they have to sit in a pen and get fed. We don't have many hogs break but they usually get stopped. Me and txhogsanddogs run together a majority of the time. We run different strike dogs and curs cuz we have too many to run all together, but we always have a Dogo and a Dogo/ab or a pit and a real big rough bmc that catches with cd. Dogos either run on the ground or get cut at first bark, pit is lead in.
What i believe Brian was saying was it is hard to believe that you never have a single hog break and run on you? Especially on the gritty pack you run. Not all hogs will turn and fight no matter how much pressure you put on them. I have seen hogs run off with pits hangin on them, hell this summer me and Brian had a big hog walk off not trying to fight at all with four grown dogs all caught (both ears and two legs). So it's really hard to believe that you ain't never had a pig get away.
Point is, you shouldn't be gettin on here just to tell some guy his pups are culls. Everyone hunts a little different, some like lose, some like tight, some like gritty, some don't. A strike dog that is almost strait catch is a cull to me because they are usually too cut up to hunt all the time. How do you know Silver Bullet is not bay and shoot style? Could you go in and shoot over your pack? Just don't come in here and tell People how their dog is a cull.
