How I define them

Strike dog/Find dog-Finds, stops, and bays hogs

Bay dog- I use it for any dog that bays a hog.  Can be a dog that does not find the hogs but helps bay it.

Help dog- Does not find many hogs but will help bay

RCD- Running Catch Dog- runs loose on it's own or with the curs, and catches what they find.  Does not bark at or bay a hog, straight catch only, so really it could be used as a lead in catch dog too.  A RCD might or might not find it's own hogs.

This is just how I define them, others probably have different opinions.

I agree with what he said to a T. Especially bout the rcd part. It seems there are different opinions on that one but the way I understand that's what a rcd is
