I agree with Mr. Mason, and can personally recommend him as a long time respected authority on all things about hog hunting with dogs, breeding/raising/training dogs, in a baypen, in the woods, etc. Also agree with previous reply, go to hog dog breeders, hog hunters, and listen, watch, and learn what they have to say and show you. Then with that experience, try to find what and how you want to proceed.
