Walker Dogs!!!!!

Buddy of ours just bred a runnin walker to his bmc. Also have a friend in LA that runs runnin walkers on deer. He said the same thing....You dont pick these up till late that afternoon, said they will flat run a deer down!!! What I meant also was that the speed that the treeing walkers I witnessed hunted indicated they were not really intent on catching up to the hog but merely enjoying runnin the scent. But they would bay hard once there. Just did not like the fact that they wanted to smell every foot print left by the hog. Would rather them run "through" the scent such as a July hound is supposed to do.
