I've got a few collars from mike they seem to be holding up. Two yrs and nothing through it I use southern cross and never had a problem but like said above it will rub a lil if it don't fit but mike from hardcore said that he runs his bayvest on his CDs so he must have something good and he also said that it doesn't rub them raw so I'd say it's worth a try
