Hey guys I have a couple of questions that ya'll may be able to help me out with. Since I am fairly new to doggin' I am still learning a whole lot about this sport. 2 weeks ago I was the lucky recipient of 2 6 week old ybmc x plott puppies. They almost look like red bones, and if I hadn't seen the parents I might believe the are. My question is, on average what type of bay dogs do these crosses make, are they gritty, are they better at stopping a runner, what kind of bottom can I expect. Also do I train them like hounds or like a bmc. And last but not least are they gonna have that trademark hound bawl ( hoping that they do I have always wanted a hound type dog). Also are these dogs less likely to be open with the bmc blood in them.
Very good cross, but you will have to wait and see, they could have any of the traits mentioned above.
