Oh and checked with FWC, both the lakeland office and Tampa office and neither officer had any clue as to any place that you cold run dogs for hogs without it being a quota hunt. Me personally im not running my dogs on public land during gun season.
Guess you haven't done enough research. You can hunt Mallory swamp, Hickory Mound, Osceola National Forest, Ocala National Forest, and Lower Suwanee NWR (not 100% positive on this one) without quotas
