... now that you metion it... we've been havin' the same thing happen on and off where we hunt lately...
..we'll be goin' to a bay and hear another dog bayin' in another direction... similar to my dogs but defenitely coyote-ish.. ever time we get close it stops... we've got lot's of yotes where we hunt, but hardly ever see them
Went out by myself about 6mnths ago, just me and my Shine dog.. she bayed up a sow and you shoulda heard the yotes rally and head to us...
... made me real nervous about her bayin' one up way away from me... as many yotes as it sounded like, I'd be worried they might try and take her down with the hog...
..my dogs won't honor it, so I never have tried to send them that way... but I might start trying... Interesting stuff
