I hunted quite a few kemmer dogs and other mtn cur dogs.

I just got  2 kemmers from Charles Fasola. Male and Female. She is almost 50 pounds and the male pup is about 60#s.

Both have a ton of the same blood as striker. Striker was owned by a professional guide named Derril Fry.

Striker was out of a brother sister cross the sire being Gold Nugget and dam being Blondie2.

The grand dam being Tennessee MTN Blondie and grandsire being Walkers Buck. This was the beginning of the Kemmer mtn cur which were originally the Original mtn cur breed.

I have a ton of gold nugget blood in the 2 dogs I have now and I am converting them from coon to hog dogs. Hopefully I will have pups from this cross in about 6 weeks... My favorite kemmer blood has been gold nugget.

My other favorite dogs have been Texas Smoke breeding and it basicly goes back to the same as the early kemmer blood.

These should be of the larger athletic type.

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
A hunting dog is born not made...
