you have to get on a program and keep at it i use permethrin to spray the dogs and kennels ect. then i come back after it's had time to soak in the ground and spray a product called martins I. G . regulator on the ground and houses [not the dogs ] the martins messes with the flea and ticks ability to mature to biting age [or egg laying ] thus you break the cycle of reproduction until you break the cycle you are doing nothing but killing adult fleas not the eggs or larva wich will hatch out EVERY DAY in a bad infestation . and then i will every 2 weeks spray a perimiter around the kennels with the combo of permitherin and martins mixed together and solved all my problems . this worked for me living in the middle of a cow pasture where i had a serious problem for a while . GET AFTER EM AND KEEP ON EM hope this helps   you can find the martins at a feed store tsc doesn't carry it
