A lil pr goes along way guys i disagree with the bill 100% but put urself in landowners shoes if u work land to make a living then why should u put up with some hunter tearing ur stuff up and i know a good honest hunter is a benefit to a landowner but look at all the dishonest ones that cause more problems than the hogs do a farmer gets an insurance check at 50% crop loss so he at leasts breaks even but if a hog hunter cuts his fence and runs or even catches his cattle then he loses money by having vet bils and fuel loss and damaged fence getting his cattle back in plus the time it takes to do those chores when he could be doing something productive for his farm... i know its an insurance deal also but they would rather pay the crop loss than the hunters damage believe it or not its cheaper i was once a landowner and farmer and had to put up with this crap it was just easier to stop all hunting and take the crop loss and hunt for myself everday or every couple of days we were mending fence and doctoring cattle go talk to landowners if they say no then stay away from that area get a good reputation with the ones that allow u to hunt and retrieve dogs word of mouth is ur best advertisement and tuskbuster i had a lil talk with don armes too hes xhanged alot since he took office he didnt act like he really cared for what i had to say so i agree with u but with land i lose to idiotic hunters i lose their loss but i am getting more from people that appreciate a hardworking good honest hunter and another thing folks its our responsibilty as as hunters to fight for our rights together to stand up as a group instead of individuals large numbers get more notice than a bunch of single people join a working dog group lswda and tdha im an active member in both but we have to work together or we will take more losses to laws jmo
