jdog think about what you're saying the strongest point of the drag is the end of it .the weakest point of a drag is the beginning . no body that i have ever known has said start at the end of drag . if you are putting a caged pig or coon out for the dogs , place the [prize ] where you want it and then go away from the [prize] and pull a trail  or drag  back to said prize . so that dogs are trailing from the weakest point to the prize just like in the wild . if you place the prize and then drag away from the prize you will teach the dogs to take whats called a back track going where the hog was ,not where it is at . allways go from point A to point B  not B to A  start to finisn not finish to start . GOT IT ??
