I think what he is suggesting is that when you put sent on your drag bag it is strongest at that point then the longer you drag the less sent is on the drag bag. Therefore it is possible for the sent to be stronger from b to a than a to b. If you are using a coon skin or a live hog you dont have this problem. Now I've never noticed this to be a problem as I only use the sent drag bags on pups and on short sent trails. I just go A to B and haven't seen a problem.
