I made some sour mash after I used up all that from the moonshine guy. I used about 25 or 30 lbs. of cracked corn, 3 packs of yeast, one pound of sugar per gallon of water,.....of which I used about 5 or 6 gallons. It will 'work' or ferment for several days, bubbling like it's boiling....finally yielding alcohol,....which will evaporate if left open....then it will start to decompose and that's when it gets good I reckon.
