We pack when we hunt. Usually have two catch dogs but you never know and I like to be able to back my dogs up, I've never used mine but two of my uncles got on boar that was over 450lbs one day cut three dogs bad only four dogs on the ground including catch dogs and it charged my uncle wearing a pit for an ear ring so he put three 44 slugs in it and they got busy stapling dogs. Saved three of the four by shooting that boar.
