so all you guys are saying you want to die on your job
and miss out on a comforatable retirement . these dogs work for us and retirement doesn't meen being left in a kennel and forgotten about . there are plenty of things to do with a dog than hunt it . if they live long enough to get that old out of respect for a warrior they should be able to retire and live the good life . going on long walks and meeting a few ladies . and just enjoying life for a change . 7 or 8 years of catching is a long long time . and me personally if i was fond of the dog i would retire it and just take it out every now and then and maybe let it catch some of the esier hogs and just use as a backup .
