I don't hunt them that much, but I'm going to be in town during February. I've hunted in and all around Coker prairie in my younger days. Ain't no fence or gate ever been able to keep me off "public" land.
Good lookin woods in there and lots of hogs. Figured $50 split 3 ways ain't to bad to be able to hunt it again legally. I usually hunt one dog at a time on these type of hunts. Never a shortage of googans on these hunts, but huntin one rough, close range dog helps eliminate "most" problems. Public land dog hunts suck anywhere you go. Two weeks ago here in Tennessee, it was a three ring circus in these mountains. I'm really surprised no one was killed. You can try and take anyones dog you want, just don't ever let me catch you takin mine
