well garranty's are good for the buyer but sometimes hell on the seller . i garranty every dog that leaves my yard . but some people will take advantage of a garranty . the dog will hunt like heck but it may not hunt like the buyer wants for whatever reason [mostly stupid ] or his wife  found out how much he spent on the dog the list goes on and on and you get the dog back .
But a dog should be guaraunteed in my opinion.  The reason for this is because, if you are not producing the highest quality dogs to pass on genetic traits you want to stay in your yard, and share with different hunters, then you should not be breeding.  Yes you have the dummies that buy the dog not knowing what having a hunting dog means, or "his wife getting mad" but at least you are giving them the best possible dog, and the fact that you are willing to take it back if it comes to that shows you believe that yourself.  I also feel that if you bred for this purpose then there are plenty of worse places for a dog that has the genetics and traits you are looking for to go than back to you. You should only breed a dog to produce the hunting stock that you want to hunt with so why if your breeding it because it has the things you look for in a dog would you not guarantee it? Obviously culls happen, but probably less often in a proven line of dogs  JMHO though
