I think that the anti's don't care about killing off pets/hunting dogs right now because they are looking at the big picture...lose some animals now but make it to where folks can't keep or breed dogs after they confiscate the dogs after the law kicks in...which is what they want...to lose a few battles but win the war...
heads of both Peta & HSUS have been qouted saying that their ultimate goal is to see ALL DOMESTIC ANIMALS extinct. think about that for a minute. we're not just talking about losing hunting dogs, saddle horses, rodeos, hunting, etc., they're talking about ALL dogs. seeing eye dogs, drug dogs, bomb sniffing dogs. ALL cows, horses, pigs, chickens, etc. ALL DOMESTIC ANIMALS GONE FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH.
