i've caught and handled a bunch of live dillers fron when i was a young un . used to sneak up on em and grab the tail and HANG ON  . i ain't never caught a diller that smelled hoggy . i think the dogs just flat don't like em . i been tryin to catch me a live one to work these new pups with to break em . or find me a fresh road kill  Grin  but as for smellin like a hog my exp. is a no
