I hunt with a guy that has a purebred airadale gyp. She is a good dog and she will hunt out medium range. She is very rough and will try to catch anything no matter the size. The guy I hunt with likes to cross his airadale with curdogs to get exactly what he is looking for. He gave me a cross on time and I culled it; I wouldn't go back and get another but that is just me. I guess like every other type of dog and dog cross there are good ones and there are culls.
