From what I understand, Robert and the proudcers went head-to-toe about some of the stuff that LA was tring to "Holleywood up." Rob has hunted hogs for a long time and will be the first to admit that his dogs aren't the best. Jerry put number 1 and 2 in the Record on Exotics record book and held that title for quite some time. Number 1 (12 5/8 inch tusk) is mounted over his fireplace in this trophy room, along with several other good tusker boars. I know the Campbell's pretty well and the bickering bs you see on the show, just isn't them. They are a pretty close knit family that likes to have fun and stick together. Most you you would really like them, if you ever met them. It kills me "hog doggers" are bashing them. Shouldn't we be sticking together and not running our mouths, trying to degrade them?
? Jerry was huning hogs before most of the people on here were even born. He's not going to claim that he is the best, nor will the rest of the family. Robert is a pretty good ole boy and will give you the shirt off of his back if he thinks you need it. Krystal is firey as hell but she is also a sweetheart. All of them know what they are doing, but when you have an editor, that doesn't, cutting and pasting, then things can get misconstrued. Holleywood came looking for them, not the other way around.
