Any full blooded bulldog that ever bays a hog is cull as a catch dog.

Those are the ones that will put you in a bind one day and get good dogs killed.



x2 i went with a fella about two weeks ago who said his bulldog was a jam up catch dog .... my dogs bayed up a good sow an we had to use my cur dogs to catch her that bulldog just barked

I agree that a bulldog that runs in to a bay and barks is a cull...
But IMO, a bulldog that tracks, finds, barks a couple times, and catches BY HIMSELF is fine...
Not barking would be putting him in a bind more than it would if he didnt...
I didnt like it at all when he first did it, but the more i talk to others and the more i think about it, i have no problem with it...
Now if I send him to a bay and he runs in and barks and doesnt attempt to catch, that will be the day he is a cull to me...   Wink
