Everytime someone wants to do that with my dogs I just tell them that I need to attach price tags to my dogs collars first so if they shoot one they will know what they will have to pay!
On a serious note though, there has been a handful of times when I really needed a gun or wished I would have had one, but its just too dangerous in most situations and really to dangerous in the terrain that I hunt for sure. I have started doing hunts like that though. I will bring my dogs to someones lease/farm that has a hog problem and they invite clients and or friends and I let them stick the hogs. I charge between 150 and 300 a day and they are in charge of baiting and food for their guests. Doing it that way also relieves me of liability and insurance and they are responsible for their guests and property. All I have to do is show up!
