Yes money talkes! Quite oftem a person can buy a dog that will fit your hunting great, that does not fit the sellers style of hunting! ex a person wants to sell beacuse a dog is to short range--to long range for them beacuse the way they pefer to hunt, Dog not ruff enough-or too ruff for there style hunting, family or work related reasons, ect. spend time talking to the person , go hunt with them and watch with your owen eyes! trust your owen judgement, get someone who you trust to go hunt with whoever has the dog for sale. I have sold a couple of dogs, I dont know you or how you hunt or say you hunt, so if you want the dog come hunt with me, and see for yourself, make your own opnions on the dog, come hunt 2-3 times if need to. The dogs I have sold were nice dogs, just didnt fit, and the buyers left happy, and still are! Often one dog can chang the results of how many hogs you catch, I also believe that often nice dogs are sold and the new owners, dont give the dog a fair chance to fit in. I sold a really nice 18mo pup that was super long range to a cousin of mine, he hunted with me several times, and wanted him, I had no intrest in selling him, then wam DIVORCE had to cut back. After a couple of years he decided the dog was to long, and too much bottom for him. He sold the dog and the man that bought hin even went as far as to call me for info on the dog! Yes I lost a nice dog but he went to a good home that used him for what he was bread for. Last I herd of him he was in north east tx, maby someone on here knows him, CLAY! A person can find there self with too many nice dogs with a good program, just as fast as too much junk! yes they are out there like the others said it takes time!
