i prefer a morning hunt myself, like others i wanna see whats going on...but hunting is hunting to me day or night.

I've heard of dogs not hunting well at night never believed it until i got a younger cur that does not hunt out hardly at all during the night. During the day he's gone...

You dang right I have that problem
. I hunt mostly during the day and my dogs do decent, but the few night hunts I've made, my dogs didn't seem to wanna leave my feet to go look for sign. It's aggravating and the only way to fix it is hunt more nights so your dogs can get used to it, but night hunts are rough for me.
