If ur hunting a place with no hogs a finished dog should crap one out and bay it... But seriously i think that's a good question because i think alot of guys refer to finished if they think it's finished training, or if the dog produces pigs consistently. I figure a finished dog is one that's matured into it's style of hunting and when u put it on the ground, rig it, cast it, or whatever u do to hunt it is normally going to to the same thing time I'n and time out to bay/catch pigs, and i think that dog is going to be pretty old
