Ok since my Wife had to open this can of worms on easttexas I guess I gotta tell. I don't hardly post pics or of pigs or even hunts I go on but surely didn't want this one getting out but anyways here it goes. Ok first and foremost I wanna thank Ethan and b-bop for all the help. Me and my two curtain climbers went on a day hunt that I thought was gonna be a easy hunt. We started off by my youngest tellin me he wanted a big pig which is really unusual because he always says he wants a bitty pig. (little bitty). We made a big circle and was headed back to the gate to leave. I honestly didn't plan on catching anything, I was really just wantin to let b-bop see the dogs on the hood so he would lay off on the "I wanna pig hunt" Well as we was pulling out the dogs shot off the hood at a dead run. They bayed for maybe five seconds at 83 yards straight west of us. He broke south east and they had him bayed at 63 south of us. My smart self told my boys to stay in the truck until I holler which I thought would be after I had the pig flipped and was on it. Anyway it didn't work at all the way I planned it and the way it usually goes. I get in at about twenty yards and send my catchdog and I run in behind him. I grab both back legs and do my usual flip him just by has back legs. Well he would not budge at all. Then I try to flip him by his back left and front left and literally jumping and doing the manly grunting for that extra ump ya get. Still didn't work... So I'm letting go of his front leg to get his back legs with both hands and then it all went south.. He kicked, spun around, grunted and knocked me down at the same time lol. I'm on my hands and knees within five inches of this pig who is taller than me, but were facing opposite ways. He hooks between my knee and boot and cut my pants. Got on the inside of my left elbow and somehow tore to the outside and down to my wrist. And then......... I was violated.... He stuck his nose on my butt. Not my cheeks I mean butt. During all this I'm kicking, screaming, yelling, hollering, crawling, squealing, while I'm still on my hands and knees. He lifts me off the ground twice and my arms can't keep up with how fast he is pushing me and just when I think I'm fixin to ball up under him I manage to get away. It tore the seat out of my pants and just a little bitty hole in my undies. My bulldog was caught the whole time and I know that was the only thing that stopped the pig. I did this 12 year old cheerleading sounding elk bugle call during this whole escapade. Heck of a mental picture I know.. I yelled for my oldest to bring my pistol and he came a running. The pig had broke south with my catchdog still dangling on a ear. I got the gun and went to the creek where he finally stopped and I busted a cap lol. I got a little revenge. He was the biggest I alone have ever caught and the first I ever shot. I was sure proud of the catchdog and a whole lot thankful he stayed locked on his ear. My boys sure was proud and have been wantin to go hunting every since.
