artery clamp. It is like a staple gun with a long end to go in deep if needed and it clamps a staple around the artery and stops the bleeding. That way you can staple or stitch right away and don't have to hold the clamp and worry that it will start bleeding again after you have closed the wound. My father was a large and small animal vet and I started helping in surgery when I was about 12 yrs old. My cut box is a little bigger than average. I even have a x-ray machine.
