I got with a company that payed for and helped me get my CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements. People always lookin' for a trucker with all these endorsements. Pays pretty good. Can't work too many hours or DOT will shut ya down. I'm just doin' local hauls and home every night. Never saw myself in a truck but now I'm set for life, as long as i'm physically able
I been thinkin bout doin soon as I'm 21. My dad drives a day cab with a van trailer and he don't really get paid much. Does havin those endorsements help the pay quite a bit?
Those endorsements are high responsiblity so yeah they're gonna pay a lil better and they are mostly oil field. Seen jobs lookin' for drivers starting out $22+ an hr but you gotta put in a couple years of 14-15 and hr jobs to get your experience on paper then no prob findin' a job
