I'm just curious how do you know she's not producing enough milk for the pups? Are they crying a lot? It may not look like she's full of milk, and you might not be able to squeeze her and get much out but 99% of the time if she's healthy and being fed right, then what she's doing is probably okay. Dogs are just like any other mammal, her body will make just what she needs, and usually not much more. I'm all about helping out when a helping hand is needed, but I also realize that dogs have been giving birth and caring for their young for ages without man's intervention.
Also know that the milk a mother dog gives her newborn pups the first couple of days (colostrum) won't look like regular milk (fore and hind milk) and there really won't seem like there's much of it.
