Never had one get stove up that easily,  but several years ago i had one get hit real hard, no cuts just hit, wouldnt eat and could tell he really hurt.  Only thing i could get him to eat was fried chicken.   Dont know why, but after a couple of weeksof making friends with the fat chick that closed at k f c he was fine and eating again.
