I've seen a rough yellow dog come back to a fella with a face full of blood, a nut in her mouth and her backside cut to ribbons.
Also seen a very good Catahoula nut dog fall out of a race face full of blood and stinking like the boar sat on his face. A hog that wants to run and has the ability to whoop a dog will do what he wants.
Two weeks ago I literally walked into a bay, unclipped my pit, saw her grab snout then the hog took off with her, ran her directly into a good salt cedar tree and she came detached with his nose still in mouth.
When they wanna run, they run.
I feel a dog can afford to be a bit yappy IF they burn up a track AND run for fur.
