Great boar chain glad you got him.. I v been after one for the last 2 years that's goin to go around the 400 mark.It amazes me how hard and how long they can run being that size. Everybody says them big ones don't run that's bs! The one I get on is atleast a 16 to 20 mile run before the dogs start falling out on him he may bay once but that's all dogs. Ran him a little over 12 hours last time I was on him.
That's what this one did. He would stand there for one dog for a minute or two but as soon as he heard the others coming he was gone. Rain had 16 miles on her collar the first time and about that the other times. We tried to send fresh dogs to him when he crossed a road but I don't have anything else that can keep up with Rain right now and after a few hours they would start falling out. I hate to let a big hog get away but those are the ones I love to hunt..
