Man awesome weekend and great story! Those hood dogs sound fun to hunt behind
For guys that hunt in heavy cover like yourself as well as me it doens't get an better than riding around and letting a dog do the work. It will make you lazy for sure. I'm loving it though. I'm building a rack for my rhino right now. I have a few places i should be able to hood hunt but not many.
My main thing is casting dogs out on a "fresh" track that turns out to be not so fresh.... let the dogs run for a little while load em up and then do this a couple more times, by the time you jump a hot track dogs are worn out! eats me up everytime HOOD HUNTERS WILL BE MY NEXT INVESTMENT!
